The nuns at Tsoknyi Gechak Ling Nunnery perform the Gutor Puja, which traditionally takes place over the 7 days preceding Losar, the Tibetan Lunar New Year (February 10 this year). The puja is done to sweep away negative energy and harmful influences in order to welcome prosperity, blessings, and good conditions for the coming year.
