As you may remember, last August the wonderful Rashmi KC became the new school principal for Tsoknyi Gechak School (TGS) at Tsoknyi Gechak Ling. We are so excited to now share with you an interview filmed with Fionnuala Shenpen and Rashmi during this time of transition. Not only will you learn more about Rashmi’s background and her connection to Tsoknyi Rinpoche, but you will also get to see first-hand what a beautiful heart she has and how much she cares for the nuns and Tsoknyi Gechak School. We are very grateful to have her leadership at TGS as she continues to elevate the school as a revolutionary education model for the Himalayan region, providing equitable access for girls and young women to a high-quality education in a modern classroom alongside the study of traditional Buddhist philosophy.
